What you will do:
- Creating a test strategy and approach
- Working with the team on various testing activities, including the creation, clarification, and loading of test cases and scripts
- Monitoring progress and updates of the testing schedule
- Analysing formal test results to identify and report any defects, bugs, errors, and configuration issues
- Communicating information on test progress, test results, and other relevant updates to project stakeholders
- Generating a variety of metrics and reports, such as test closure reports, as necessary
- Identifying and recommending improvements to testing processes to increase efficiency
- Writing and executing system, integration, and regression tests as needed
Ideally if you have:
- Demonstrable experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and a bonus for SAP HANA
- Proven background in ETL testing including evaluating data completeness and quality
- Ability to perform testing of databases, data comparison, and data transformation scripting
- Thorough understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling
- Experience in testing of reports
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Strong English language proficiency in both written and verbal communication
